The Fisherman's Record Book

A journal in which those who pursue the noblest fish, trout and salmon, may record each outing, for it was a wise man who remarked that as much fishing is enjoyed in fireside recollection as on the river bank.

It is important to keep a journal of days spent fishing as all great fishermen have done in the past, for it is said that days spent with a rod in hand would be counted as credits on the day of judgement.

The layout of The Fisherman's Record Book will enable the user to record not only the weight and type of fish that make up the catch but also all those other important details which contribute so much to a good day's sport. Which flies were used and who tied them, the conditions on the river, was the water high or low, was the weather cold or warm, what did your companions achieve and what wildlife was seen - a swallow kissing the water or an otter working his way up stream? Clear memories of good sport will be revived by these thoughts in the years ahead and maybe settle an argument or two about just how much that prize fish really did weigh!
